Nārāyaṇa is the Meritorious One Who Grants the Paṟai
பறைதரும் புண்ணியன் நாராயணன்
483 நோற்றுச்சுவர்க்கம் புகுகின்றவம்மனாய்! *
மாற்றமும்தாராரோ? வாசல்திறவாதார் *
நாற்றத்துழாய்முடி நாராயணன்நம்மால் *
போற்றப்பறைதரும் புண்ணியனால் * பண்டொருநாள்
கூற்றத்தின்வாய்வீழ்ந்த கும்பகரணனும் *
தோற்றுமுனக்கே பெருந்துயில்தான்தந்தானோ? *
ஆற்றஅனந்தலுடையாய்! அருங்கலமே! *
தேற்றமாய்வந்து திறவேலோரெம்பாவாய்.

Simple Translation
483. O dear! Have you attained the bliss of your fasting?(nonbu)
Why don't you speak? Why don't you answer?
The virtuous Nārāyanan, adorned with a thulasi garland,
will give us bliss (Parai), if we sing His glory.
Did Kumbakarnan, who fell into Yama's mouth in battle gift you
this deep sleep?
Dear, who is in deep slumber! You are a precious ornament!
Wake up and open the door.
Let us go and worship our Pāvai.

Detailed Explanation
nŏṝu suvarggam puguginra ammanāi!
Since this gopikā did not awaken even after dawn, they are employing sarcasm, remarking, ‘This is delightful, you desired to observe the nōnbu and rejoice.’ This also implies that this gopikā has already attained the benefits of the nōnbu, positioning her in a state where observance is no longer necessary.
