யாவரும் வந்தனர்: நீ எதற்காக உறங்குகிறாய்?
484 கற்றுக்கறவைக் கணங்கள்பலகறந்து *
செற்றார்திறலழியச் சென்றுசெருச்செய்யும் *
குற்றமொன்றில்லாத கோவலர்தம்பொற்கொடியே! *
புற்றரவல்குல் புனமயிலே! போதராய் *
சுற்றத்துத்தோழிமாரெல்லாரும்வந்து * நின்
முற்றம்புகுந்து முகில்வண்ணன்பேர்பாட *
சிற்றாதேபேசாதே செல்வப்பெண்டாட்டி! * நீ
எற்றுக்குறங்கும் பொருளேலோரெம்பாவாய்.

puṟṟaravu-alkuṟ puṉamayile ! potarāy **
cuṟṟattut toḻimār ĕllārum vantu * niṉ
muṟṟam pukuntu mukilvaṇṇaṉ per pāṭa *
ciṟṟāte pecāte cĕlvap pĕṇṭāṭṭi ! * nī
ĕṟṟukku uṟaṅkum pŏrul̤?-elor ĕmpāvāy (11)

Simple Translation
484. You are as beautiful as a golden vine,
the daughter of the faultless cowherds, owners of many cows,
who fight their enemies bravely and destroy their valor.
You are as beautiful as a forest peacock, with a slender waist
like a snake's hood.
Get up. Your friends in the neighborhood have come.
They are in your front yard praising the fame of the dark
cloud-colored Kannan.
O rich girl! you have neither stirred from bed nor uttered a word.
Why are you sleeping like this?
Let us go and worship our Pāvai.
