The āzhvār, assuming the role of a Nayaki, previously sent messages to the Lord through a bee and a stork. It is said that Vayalali Emperuman came that night and took Parakala Nayaki away. This verse is structured like the lament of a mother who wakes up to find her daughter (Parakala Nayaki), who had slept beside her, missing. The mother is distraught and laments, realizing that the union has already taken place.

1217. Kaliyan who carries a spear and fights angrily with his enemies
composed ten Tamil pāsurams
about how a beautiful vine-like girl went alone,
