vowing them to be for the divine feet of ṣrī vāmana who is naturally inclined towards union with his devotees —

ŏh my vāmana! —

when he took the divine incarnation as dwarfish vāmana —

Oh Vamana! —

the One who incarnated as Vamana —

even if you had not borne the name of vāman —

Without any requirement from our side to ḥim, ḥe came by ḥimself to help, as vāmanan; —

in the Mahabharatha war —

sarvĕṣvaran (supreme being) vāmana mūrththi (who kept his divine feet on the heads of all) —

one who comes as a seeker and gives enjoyment —

as vāmana —

ŏh (most easily approachable) vāmana! —

ṣrī vamānan —

as vāmana who begged, measured and accepted (so others cannot claim ownership) —

in the form of vāmana [one of the incarnations of emperumān] —

to vāmana —

attracting him with his vāmana (dwarf) form —

(matching such ability, one who requested for alms in a tiny form as the huge mĕru mountain was shrunk into a small stone) being vāmana —

blessing me to see vāmanāvathāram (where he manifested his lordship over the whole universe and showed that everything is fully dependent on him) —

having vāmana (dwarf) form (which is enjoyable as if the huge mĕru mountain is shrunk into a small seed) —
