494 eṟṟa kalaṅkal̤ * ĕtir pŏṅki mītu al̤ippa *
māṟṟāte pāl cŏriyum val̤l̤aṟ pĕrum pacukkal̤ *
āṟṟap paṭaittāṉ makaṉe ! aṟivuṟāy *
ūṟṟam uṭaiyāy ! pĕriyāy ! ** ulakiṉil
toṟṟamāy niṉṟa cuṭare! tuyil ĕḻāy *
māṟṟār uṉakku vali tŏlaintu uṉ vācaṟkaṇ *
āṟṟātu vantu uṉ aṭipaṇiyumā pole *

Simple Translation
494. The girls coming to wake up the God say,
“O son of Nandagopan, Lord of fine cows
that yield milk generously, making the pots overflow!
You are wise, a bright light and our refuge.
Get up. Just as the enemies who are unable to fight
with you fall at your doorstep in total surrender, we come and
worship your feet, praising You whose fame is abundant.
Let us worship worship our Pāvai.
