Simple Translation
491. The girls coming to wake up Nappinnai say,
“O, Nappinnai, daughter-in-law of the strong-armed
Nandagopan, who is valiant like an elephant, open the door.
O! the fragrant haired one!
Listen! The roosters are calling to wake everyone and
the flock of cuckoo birds sitting on the vines blooming
with mādhavi flowers call out.
Come, you hold flower balls in your beautiful and soft fingers!
Come and join us to sing and praise the name of your husband.
Open the door as the lovely bracelets on your beautiful
lotus hands jingle.
We are going to worship our Pāvai.
