திருமங்கை அனுப்பிய திருத்துழாய் மாலை

50 கானார்நறுந்துழாய் கைசெய்தகண்ணியும் *
வானார்செழுஞ்சோலைக் கற்பகத்தின்வாசிகையும் *
தேனார்மலர்மேல் திருமங்கைபோத்தந்தாள் *
கோனே! அழேல்அழேல்தாலேலோ குடந்தைக்கிடந்தானே! தாலேலோ.

Simple Translation

50. The divine Lakshmi seated on a lotus that drips honey sent you a garland of forest thulasi and a garland of karpaga flowers that bloomed in the fertile grove in the sky to decorate your forehead. O king, do not cry, do not cry, thālelo, you rest on Adishesha in Kudandai (Kumbakonam), thālelo.

தேன் ஆர் மலர் மேல் — தேன் நிறைந்த மலர்மேல்; திருமங்கை — உறைகின்ற பெரிய பிராட்டியார்; கான் ஆர் — காட்டில் வளர்ந்துள்ள; நறுந்துழாய் — மணம்மிக்க துளசியால்; கைசெய்த கண்ணியும் — தொடுக்கப்பட்ட மாலையும்; வான் ஆர் செழுஞ்சோலை — வான் உலகத்தில்; செழுஞ்சோலை — நிறைந்து வளர்ந்துள்ள; கற்பகத்தின் — கற்பக மரத்தின்; வாசிகையும் — பூக்களால் தொடுத்த; மாலையும் — மாலையும்; போத்தந்தாள் — அனுப்பினாள்; கோனே! அழேல் அழேல் — கோமானே அழாதே; தாலேலோ! — கண் வளராய்!; குடந்தை — திருக்குடந்தையில்; கிடந்தானே! — உறங்கும் பிரானே!; தாலேலோ! — கண் வளராய்!
