Simple Translation

2322. When the lord who carried Govardhanā mountain as an umbrella to protect the cows and the cowherds measured the world, his diamond-studded crown touched the sky, his ankleted feet extended in all the eight directions, and encircled all the thick groves of the earth and his dress shone like lightning.

kunṛam kudaiyāga — holding the gŏvardhana hill as an umbrella; ākāththa kŏ — the swāmy (lord) who protected the cows; anṛu — once upon a time; mannu maṇi mudi — the apt crown which has gems; nīṇdu — growing tall; aṇdam pŏy — reaching up to the walls of the universe; eṇ dhisaiyum — all the eight directions; thunnu pozhil anaiththum — the entire earthen region which is inhabited (by jīvāthmās); sūzh — pervaded; kazhalĕ — being only the divine feet; minnai udai āgak koṇdu ulagu al̤andhān — measured the worlds, wearing lightning as his divine clothing.

The Āzhvār, his heart once more immersed in the fathomless ocean of divine glories, brings to his mind the magnificent spectacle of Sriman Nārāyaṇa’s Trivikrama avatāra. Overwhelmed with devotional ecstasy, he reminisces about the Lord who measured the entire cosmos with His three divine steps, an act of supreme majesty and boundless grace.
