other than this favour, anything else which pacifies —

one who blesses (that only) —

 kindly accept my service. —

are not favours; —

apart from his grace —

you must bless me by bestowing me with everything, beginning with being qualified —

acknowledging that ī am a suitable candidate for your blessings —

being the one who bestows —

 not having any kindness towards them (angu) as ḥis nature, such emperumān who is sarvĕṣvaran (lord of all), —

other than under (your) kindness —

to glance at me with comforting eyes —

did she not get your grace! —

will grant with his mercy —

showed mercy (by eliminating the sorrow inflicted by a crocodile) —

showered infinite grace —

bestowed his mercy (of accepting the flower from its trunk before it loses its freshness and decorating himself with it) —

helping them in all ways —

being the target of his mercy —
