protect the doors that are decorated with flags and festoons!
Open the door.
The jewel-colored, dark Māyavan promised us the cowherd
girls yesterday that He would give the eternal service opportunity(Parai)
We have taken bath and have come pure to sing and wake
Him up.
O guard! Don’t offer excuses.
Open the front door of this palace!

who gives clothes, water and food to all, get up!
O Yashodā, tender shoot among all the women who are soft as vines,
the bright light of your family, and our dear one, get up.
O king of the gods, You grew tall, split the sky and measured the world.
Dear one, do not sleep. Get up.
O Baladevā, with feet adorned with pure golden anklets, don't sleep with your little brother.

“O Thirumāl adorned with garlands!
in a room decorated with beautiful lamps, you sleep on an
ivory cot that has a soft bed, resting peacefully on the chest
of Nappinnai, whose hair is adorned with beautiful flowers
that spread fragrance.
Arise and speak.
O Nappinnai with kohl-darkened eyes, you don't want to wake
your dear husband as you can't tolerate even a moment's
separation from him.

thirty three crores of Devās.
You faultless and omnipotent! Get up.
You vex your enemies and take care of your devotees.
O beautiful young Nappinnai with soft tiny breasts

so that we can praise him and let us bathe.

worshipful obedience, shedding their ego, we gather before You.
Won't You, with your beautiful lotus eyes that resemble the
anklet (kinkini), open your eyes slowly, look at us and shower
your grace?
If You cast a divine glance with your eyes that glow like the rising
sun and the moon, all our sins will get washed away.

Do come out of your beautiful temple and sit on your majestic
throne. We beseech You to know the purpose of our visit and
give us your grace, and help us.
