புகழோருடன் என்னைச் சேர்த்துவைத்தவன் இராமானுசன்

3964 கைத்தனன் தீயசமயக்கலகரை * காசினிக்கே
உய்த்தனன் தூயமறைநெறிதன்னை * என்றுன்னியுள்ளம்
நெய்த்தவன்போடிருந்தேத்தும் நிறைபுகழோருடனே
வைத்தனன் என்னை * இராமானுசன் மிக்கவண்மை செய்தே.

Simple Translation

3964. If people follow other religions than our god’s, Rāmānujā dislikes them and he saves the people of the world from them. He thought only of the pure Vedic path. I praise the devotees of generous Rāmānujā whom he made me join.

இராமாநுசன் — எம்பெருமானார் இராமாநுசர்; மிக்க வண்மை — தம் உதார குணத்தை; செய்தே — அதிகமாக காட்டி; தீய சமயக் கலகரை — தீமை செய்த மத கலவரவாதிகளை; கைத்தனன் — ஒழித்து விட்டார்; தூய மறை — பரிசுத்தமான வேத; நெறி தன்னை — மார்க்கத்தை; காசினிக்கே உய்த்தனன் — பூமியிலே நிலை நிறுத்தினார்; என்று உன்னி — என்று நினைத்து; உள்ளம் நெய்த்த — உள்ளம் களித்து; அன்போடு இருந்து — அந்த களிப்புடன் உருகி; ஏத்தும் அவரை — அவரை வாழ்த்தி வணங்கிய; நிறை புகழோருடனே — புகழ் நிறைந்த அடியார்களுடன்; என்னை வைத்தனன் — என்னையும் சேர்த்துவிட்டார்

irāmānusan — emperumānār; mikka vaṇmai seydhu — showed unbounded generosity,; kaiththanan — and divined his winning of; kalagarai — those who confuse/agitate; samayam — (based on their association to) such philosophies; theeya — which are lowly;; uyththanan — (and he) lead/administered the; thūya — pure/accurate; māṛai neṛi thannai — path of vĕdham; kāsinikku — in the earth;; enṛu unni — thinking of such aspects,; ul̤l̤am neyththu — with hearts that are not dry (wet and like new that is polished/immersed with ghee) but affectionate,; av-vanbŏdu — and being with that affection; ĕththum — they praise (emperumānār);; niṛai pugazhŏrudanĕ — with such noble ones,; ennai vaiththanan — he kept me among them by his divine grace,; ŏh! what a favour this is! — is the thought.; ŏr, saying niṛai pugazhŏrudanĕ vaiththanan — he made me who was in the association of the wrong group, to be among the ṣrīvaishṇavas, as said in adiyarŏdu irundhamai.; ḥaving affectionate heart is — unlike having a dry/dabbling affection, being full of love.
