கொடுமை செய்யும் கூற்றமும் என்னிடம் வராது

466 கடல்கடைந்துஅமுதம்கொண்டு கலசத்தைநிறைத்தாற்போல் *
உடலுருகிவாய்திறந்து மடுத்துஉன்னைநிறைத்துக்கொண்டேன் *
கொடுமைசெய்யும்கூற்றமும் என்கோலாடிகுறுகப்பெறா *
தடவரைத்தோள்சக்கரபாணீ! சார்ங்கவிற்சேவகனே.

466 kaṭal kaṭaintu amutam kŏṇṭu * kalacattai niṟaittāṟpol *
uṭal uruki vāy tiṟantu * maṭuttu uṉṉai niṟaittukkŏṇṭeṉ **

Simple Translation

466. Like the gods who filled a pot with nectar, by churning the ocean of milk, I opened my mouth and drank the nectar of divinity and my body melted by your grace. O lord with arms as strong as mountains, holding the discus(chakra) and the bow Sārangam in your hands! You are the servant of your devotees. Even cruel Yama will not be able to come near my feet with his club.

தடவரை — பெரிய மலைபோன்ற; தோள் — தோள்யுடைய; சக்கரபாணீ! — சக்கரத்தை ஏந்தியவனே!; சார்ங்க — சார்ங்கமென்னும்; விற் சேவகனே! — வில் வீரனே!; கடல் கடைந்து — பாற்கடலை கடைந்து; அமுதம் கொண்டு — அமிர்தத்தை எடுத்து; கலசத்தை — கலசத்தில்; நிறைத்தாற் போல் — நிறைத்தது போல; உடல் உருகி — உடல் உருகி; வாய் திறந்து — வாயால் பாடி; மடுத்து — இரண்டு கைகளையும் கூப்பி; உன்னை — உன்னை; நிறைத்து கொண்டேன் — மனதில் தேக்கிக்கொண்டேன்; கொடுமை — கொடுமைகளை; செய்யும் — செய்யும்; கூற்றமும் என் — யமனும் எனது; கோல் ஆடி — செங்கோல் செல்லுமிடங்களில்; குறுகப் பெறா — அணுக முடியாது

Āchārya Vyākyānam

நான்காம் பாட்டு -கடல்- அவதாரிகை – இறவு செய்யும் பாவக்காடு தீக்கொளீ இவேகின்றதால் -என்று தம்முடைய பாபம் போன படியைச் சொன்னார் –

நாட்டுளே பாவம் எலாம் -என்று தாம் இருந்த தேசத்தில் உள்ளார் பாபங்களும் போம் படி சொன்னார்

தமக்கு யம வச்யதையும் போன படி சொன்னார் இதில் – தம்முடைய ஆக்ஜை நடக்கும் இடம் எல்லாம் யம வச்யதை புகரப் பெறாது என்கிறார் –

கடல் கடைந்து அமுதம் கொண்டு கலசத்தை நிறைத்தால்
