Chapter 4
Āzhvār describes the benefits after the Lord entered his heart - (சென்னி ஓங்கு)
அடிமைப்பட்டுத் தாம் பெற்ற நன்மைகளை நினைத்துக் களித்தல்
The Lord takes incarnations to help the world, to destroy unrighteousness, and to protect righteousness. He protects the good people. For those who did not receive help during the times of His incarnations, He manifests as the Archaavatara! His presence in Thirumalai is for this very purpose.

Even cruel Yama will not be able to come near my feet
with his club. - Verse 5:

that I have caught You in my heart) - Verse 7:

fought and defeated the wrestlers,
I have always praised your several holy names with my tongue

shown to Garudā and Adishesha.
You have come inside my heart and made me alive.
My heart melts, my eyes fill with tears that flow
and when I think of You all my sorrows disappear. - Verse 9:
471. Leaving your snake bed on the cool ocean, You have
hastened to come and reside in the ocean of my heart.
You are the beloved of Lakshmi!
O! Unique ocean! (of eternal grace and compassion)
Unique Light! Unique world! The entire cosmos ( all places)
is yours. You made my heart your abode and you own me. - Verse 10:
472. O1 dear One! You are the light that glows in my heart,
like a shining lamp that looks like the bright coral vine growing
on a towering mountain.
You left Your heavenly abode( Vaikuntam), northern milky ocean
and walled Dwaraka and chose to reside in my heart. - Verse 11:
473. Vishnuchithan, born in the Veyar tribe,
praises Him, the cowherd,
the beautiful cool cloud-colored lord,
the bull of the cowherds,
the king of gods and the nectar of the sages.
Those who sing Vishnuchittan's pāsurams will remain close
to the lord as His shadows.
