122 சேப்பூண்ட சாடுசிதறி * திருடிநெய்க்கு
ஆப்பூண்டு நந்தன்மனைவிகடைத்தாம்பால் *
சோப்பூண்டு துள்ளித்துடிக்கத்துடிக்க * அன்று
ஆப்பூண்டான்அப்பூச்சிகாட்டுகின்றான் அம்மனே! அப்பூச்சிகாட்டுகின்றான்.

Simple Translation

122. He kicked Sakatāsuran who came as a cart yoked to bulls and killed him. The cowherd women tied the dear child by a rope used to churn yogurt. Nanda's wife Yashodā beat him for stealing butter and tied him to a mortar. He comes as a goblin and frightens us, that dear one comes as a goblin and frightens us.
