ஆயர் கொழுந்தே! அருள் செய்

531 மாமிமார்மக்களேயல்லோம் மற்றுமிங்கெல்லாரும்போந்தார் *
தூமலர்க்கண்கள்வளரத் தொல்லையிராத்துயில்வானே *
சேமமேலன்றிதுசாலச் சிக்கெனநாமிதுசொன்னோம் *
கோமளஆயர்கொழுந்தே! குருந்திடைக்கூறைபணியாய்.

531 māmimār makkal̤e allom * maṟṟum iṅku ĕllārum pontār *

Simple Translation

531. All the women, the mothers-in-law and others are here bathing. We couldn’t close our beautiful flower-like eyes in the night thinking of your naughty acts. This isn’t good for us. We are telling you about all the troubles you cause. You are the beautiful jewel-like son of the cowherd village. Give us the clothes back that you put on the kurundam tree.

Detailed WBW explanation

O Thou, who reposes with eyes resembling immaculate blossoms, having enacted playful deeds in the light of day! Present here are not solely the daughters of Thy maternal kin, but also other kinfolk including Thy aunts and their progenitors. Such frolicsome behaviors of Thine are unseemly. We have uttered these words with veracity. O Thou, akin to a delicate shoot among the lineage of cowherds! We implore Thee to graciously bestow upon us our garments.
