O Lord Who Reclines upon the Serpent Couch! We Worship You.

அரவணையில் பள்ளிகொண்டவனே! தொழுகிறோம் 

524 கோழியழைப்பதன் முன்னம் குடைந்துநீராடுவான்போந்தோம் *
ஆழியஞ்செல்வனெழுந்தான் அரவணைமேல்பள்ளிகொண்டாய் *
ஏழைமையாற்றவும்பட்டோம் இனியென்றும் பொய்கைக்குவாரோம் *
தோழியும் நானும் தொழுதோம் துகிலைப் பணித்தருளாயே. (2)

Simple Translation

524. We got up in the morning before the rooster crowed and came to bathe, plunging into the water. Our beloved sun god rises coming on his chariot. O! You rest on a snake bed! You give us a lot of trouble. We won’t come to the pond from now on. I and my friends worship you. Give us our clothes.
