யமுனைக் கரைக்கே என்னைச் செலுத்துங்கள்

620 அங்கைத்தலத்திடையாழிகொண்டான்
அவன்முகத்தன்றிவிழியேனென்று *
செங்கச்சுக்கொண்டுகண்ணாடையார்த்துச்
சிறுமானிடவரைக்காணில்நாணும் *
கொங்கைத்தலமிவைநோக்கிக்காணீர்
கோவிந்தனுக்கல்லால்வாயில்போகா *
இங்குத்தைவாழ்வையொழியவேபோய்
யமுனைக்கரைக்கென்னையுய்த்திடுமின்.

Simple Translation

620. "Dear Mothers! Behold my bosoms! They are veiled and don't reveal themselves to the ordinary mortals but only to Him who holds the discus(chakra) in His beautiful hand. My eyes don't want to see the threshold of any house, but only that of Govindan. I don’t want to live here. Take me to the banks of the Yamuna river and leave me there. ”
