- Verse 1:
The lovely Tiruppēr, situated on the south bank of the river Poṉṉi, with floodwaters laden with costly rubies, is the favored abode of Tirumāl. He entered my heart and spread Himself completely when I merely uttered the name of Tirumāliruñcōlai, the holy Mount. - Verse 2:
My Father, who resides in Tiruppēr, has now joyously entered my heart and stands firmly within. Though He consumed the seven clouds, seven oceans, seven mountains, and the seven worlds, He didn't feel full until now, spreading Himself completely inside me. - Verse 3:
How easily could I attain my Lord, Who dwells in Tiruppēr, enclosed by towers with banners aloft and tall castles! My grip on His feet is firm, cutting out pestilence, ending my cycle of births, and escaping the trap of dark ignorance. - Verse 4:
The Lord, dwelling in Tiruppēr surrounded by lovely orchards where parrots reside, is about to bestow upon me the immaculate SriVaikuntam of great splendor. My eyes rejoice, knowing that the SriVaikuntam is brought within my easy reach by the Lord’s grace, and my mind dances with joy. - Verse 5:
The Lord, dwelling in Tiṛuppēr city with its fine orchards where honey bees hum gaily, is intent on granting me spiritual bliss. He has come to me on His own, entering my body and ridding me of all impediments, the fruits of my past actions. - Verse 6:
The Lord in Tiruppēr city, Who also dwells in Tirumāliruñcōlai and many other delightful abodes, has today entered my heart and filled it completely. He has promised to stay there forever. I revel in His love, drinking deeply of that insatiable nectar. - Verse 7:
My Lord, who lives in Tiruppēr with its beautiful orchards where bees happily buzz around, is always in my sight. Being close to Him fills me with joy. What more could I ask for in SriVaikuntam? I have experienced the happiness of serving Him completely, saying ‘namaḥ’ to show that I belong to Him. - Verse 8:
The Lord Supreme, subtle beyond comprehension and the essence of all music, now resides in Tiruppēr, surrounded by glittering castles. He is intent on taking me to the spiritual world and will not tolerate being apart from my sight. It is now certain that He has firmly entered my mind. - Verse 9:
The Lord, now dwelling steadfastly in my mind at Tiruppēr, surrounded by majestic mansions, has finally turned His attention to me after neglecting and overlooking me for ages. I wonder why He kept His eyes closed to me all this time but now showers upon me His abundant grace. Would He kindly explain one or the other to me? - Verse 10:
My Lord, I have attained Your lovely feet and rendered loving service, singing these songs. What I now desire is the continuation of this bliss. The learned ones, well-versed in Vedic lore and solely devoted to You, my Lord, enshrined in Tiruppēr, will forever be freed from grief. - Verse 11:
The devotees who deeply understand these ten songs, selected from Caṭakōpaṉ of Kurukūr's larger collection in pure Tamil, composed in praise of the Lord at Tiruppēr, where fertile fields surround the sacred center, will indeed have influence over the radiant SriVaikuntam, free from affliction.
