2444. I have spent all my time reading about you, hearing about you, writing about you understanding you, praising you, worshiping you, and doing pujas for you who created the stars, and rest on Adisesha, the snake on the ocean,

Detailed Explanation

Avathārikai: Preface

In the preceding pāśuram, the Āzhvār's heart was filled with profound sadness upon witnessing the fallen and pitiable state of worldly souls. Now, in this sacred verse, he turns his focus inward, redeeming his own heart from that sorrow and becoming suffused with an ecstatic joy, celebrating the supreme benefit he has personally attained.
