ŏh those who have lost the wealth of bhagavath vishayam (knowledge of emperumān) —

ŏh people, impoverished by ignorance! —

ŏh ignorant people! —

her (who is having desire to deeply enjoy emperumān) —

this girl who is desirous [of attaining emperumān] —

-madhi muga madandhaiyar- (beautiful-faced damsels) who are servitors of bhagavān and are eager to serve bhāgavathas —

girls- (who are desirous) —

those damsels who were desirous previously —

for helpless girls (who desired without discriminating between favourable and unfavourable aspects) —

fickle minded person like ī am —

the desirous me —

 adiyen having the wish in vain, am —

(caught in emperumān’s matter) ī am standing, stunned, unable to do anything —
