we became his shadow and his pādhuka (footwear) —

(during the time of thrivikrama avathāram) the divine foot which spread out, on its own, to various places and measured them —

for such agreeable people —

did she not go to him and embrace his beautiful chest? —

becoming transformed —

just then blossomed —

 ŏther than saying ‘ŏh my elephant! ŏh my elephant!’ (calling emperumān so), —

some old women who were there, familiar with stories of old [happenings of past] —

one who incarnated as narasimha —

if he is not attainable —

became the indwelling soul for the four types of entities (celestial, human, animal and botanical) —

with such harmful entities —

those in thiruvāyppādi (gŏkulam) who called out to emperumān —

 cowherds —

bharathvāja birds named valiyan (king crows) —

became great; became beautiful in various avathārams. —

 oh one who forbears my faults just as an elephant would do! —

 saying -my strong elephant- (one who is having such activities) —

 as one who is having acts of an enjoyable elephant for me —

the sarvĕṣvaran who stays in my heart —
