சாரநாதன் திருவடிகளே எனக்குத் துணை

1583 பண்டுஏனமாய்உலகை அன்றிடந்த
பண்பாளாஎன்றுநின்று *
தொண்டானேன் திருவடியேதுணையல்லால்
துணையில்லேன்சொல்லுகின்றேன் *
வண்டேந்தும்மலர்ப்புறவில் வண்சேறை
எம்பெருமானடியார்தம்மை *
கண்டேனுக்குஇதுகாணீர்என்நெஞ்சம்
கண்ணிணையும்களிக்குமாறே.

1583 பண்டு ஏனம் ஆய் உலகை அன்று இடந்த *
பண்பாளா என்று நின்று *
தொண்டு ஆனேன் திருவடியே துணை அல்லால் *
துணை இலேன் சொல்லுகின்றேன் **
வண்டு ஏந்தும் மலர்ப் புறவில் * வண் சேறை
எம் பெருமான் அடியார் தம்மை *
கண்டேனுக்கு இது காணீர் * என் நெஞ்சும்
கண் இணையும் களிக்கும் ஆறே 6

tŏṇṭu āṉeṉ tiruvaṭiye tuṇai allāl *

Simple Translation

1583. I praise him saying, “You are an excellent god. In ancient times as a boar you dug up the earth, brought the earth goddess up and saved her. ” I am his servant and have no help but him who stays in Thiruthancherai surrounded with blooming groves swarming with bees. When I see his devotees, my heart and my eyes feel joy.
