Living by association with devotees - (பொலிக பொலிக)
அடியார் திருக்கூட்டத்தைக் கண்டு வாழ்த்தல்
This segment is filled with mangalasāsanams (blessings) for all the SriVaishnava bhaktas wishing them long lives and prosperity. Through hymns such as ‘ondrum thEvum’, Āzhvār instructed this world and made this mortal realm into paramapadam (the abode of Bhagavān). Āzhvār, through his divine hymns, completely annihilated the differences between this samsāram (materialistic realm) and paramapadam that those residing in the latter can easily come over whenever desired.
இப்பகுதி ஸ்ரீவைஷ்ணவ பக்தகோடிகளுக்கு மங்களா சாஸனம் செய்கிறது; பல்லாண்டு பாடுகிறது. ‘ஒன்றும் தேவும்’ முதலான பாடல்களால் ஆழ்வார் உலகுக்கு உபதேசம் செய்து இவ்வுலகையே பரமபதமாக்கிவிட்டார். அங்குள்ளாரும் இங்கு வரலாம் என்று சொல்லும்படி ஸம்ஸாரத்திற்கும் பரமபதத்திற்குமுள்ள வேற்றுமை நீங்கியதாகக் காணப்பட்டது.

- Verse 1:
Hail! Hail! Hail! The new era has arrived! Heavy sins are gone, hells filled with misery are destroyed. Yama's hordes have no work here, and Kali will soon be gone. Everywhere, devotees of the sea-hued Lord are singing sweet songs in His praise. - Verse 2:
We have seen, seen, seen delightful sights! Devotees of Mātavaṉ, wearing cool tuḻaci garlands with honey, are everywhere. They are singing tuneful songs and dancing merrily. Come, pious men, let's revere them and revel to our hearts' content. - Verse 3:
Kaliyukam, with its topsy-turvy morals, is gone, and the golden Kritayukam, with sound morals, is back again. The Devas too have come close to devotees, bound in ecstasy, singing with great eclat, filling the space all around with the glory of the Lord of oceanic hue, like unto a water-laden cloud. - Verse 4:
This land is full of ardent devotees of the Lord, reposing on the milk-ocean, lying, sitting, and standing. Walking along, singing many a song and dancing, flying about with heels above the ground, they are revelling like those out to uproot the heretical religions rampant in the world. - Verse 5:
I see this land full of the Lord’s devotees, who act in many ways. Ungodly and devilish people among you, worldlings, have no means of survival. The devotees will get rid of them and bring about the golden age. There is hardly any doubt about this. - Verse 6:
Devotees of the Lord wielding the discus have come here and spread themselves out, singing and strutting about, to banish from this abode pestilence, hunger, and hate, evils, one and all. O worldlings! Let not your minds wander, better fix them on sound morals and revere these devotees with a pure mind, securing salvation at their feet. - Verse 7:
The deities you worship only help you through the Supreme Lord, whom they also revere. Don't feel upset when I say there is no God but Kaṇṇaṉ. All homage you pay to other deities goes to Him, as they are part of Him. Mārkkaṇṭēyaṉ can bear witness to this truth. - Verse 8:
The Supreme Lord has placed minor deities in different places to receive homage and grant blessings. Devotees of the Lord, the One with a mole in His winsome chest, singing His glory, thrive well in this place. Better revere them and follow in their footsteps. - Verse 9:
Here we have those who serve the Lord with great devotion, offering flowers and incense, chanting sacred Vedic mantras, and deeply contemplating His auspicious traits. Revere them all lovingly, worldlings, and redeem yourselves. - Verse 10:
O worldlings, the deities whom you adore, Nakkapirāṉ (Śiva), Ayaṉ (Brahmā), Intiraṉ, and all others, worship the Lord Supreme of exquisite form and thrive well in their sprawling worlds. Like these celestials, you will also do well to worship Him and thus quell Kali's mischief. - Verse 11:
The hearts of those who recite these ten songs, taken from the glorious thousand composed by Caṭakōpaṉ of beautiful Kurukūr in the south with its fertile fields, adoring the wondrous Kaṇṇaṉ whose resplendent form dispels the harmful influence of Kali, will be rid of all blemishes.
