My beloved daughter, Parakāla Nāyakī, finds her very heart dissolving at the sound of the divine flute, played from the sacred lips of that cowherd boy, Kṛṣṇa! She speaks endlessly of His shining, magnificent, and mighty divine hands, which so effortlessly bear the formidable plough as His weapon. Overwhelmed by this divine love, she continuously sings of the glorious incidents related to Vijayarāghavan Emperumān, the presiding Lord of Thirupputkuzhi—a holy place graced with waters whose rising waves captivate and draw in all the senses of those who behold them.
