Simple Translation

657. Kulasekhara, the king with a strong army and who carries a victorious shining sword and sits under a royal umbrella, composed ten Tamil pāsurams like garlands expressing his intense devotion to the lord of Srirangam who rests on the snake bed in the midst of Ponni river with sand hillocks on its banks. Those who learn these ten pāsurams well and recite them will stay under the feet of Nāranan, who showers goodness to all.
