குடந்தையில் கிடந்தவனே! உன்னை மறவேன்

1732 வந்தாய்என்மனத்தே வந்துநீபுகுந்தபின்னை *
எந்தாய்! போயறியாய் இதுவேஅமையாதோ? *
கொந்தார்பைம்பொழில்சூழ் குடந்தைக்கிடந்துகந்த
மைந்தா! * உன்னைஎன்றும் மறவாமைப்பெற்றேனே.

Simple Translation

1732. My father, you (lord of kannapuram) came to me, entered my heart and have not left me. This is enough for me. You are the young god of Kudandai surrounded with groves blooming with bunches of flowers. I am fortunate—I received your grace and will never forget you.

எந்தாய்! — எம்பெருமானே!; நீ வந்தாய் — நீயே வந்தாய்; என் மனத்தே — என் மனத்துள்ளே நீயே; வந்து புகுந்த பின்னை — வந்து புகுந்த பின்; போய் — திரும்பிப்போவதை; அறியாய் — மறந்து விட்டாய்; இதுவே — இந்த பாக்யத்தைக் காட்டிலும்; அமையாதோ — வேறு ஒன்று உண்டா; கொந்து ஆர் — கொத்துக் கொத்தாக பூக்கள் மலரும்; பைம்பொழில் சூழ் — சோலைகள் சூழ்ந்த; குடந்தைக் கிடந்து — திருக்குடந்தையில் இருக்கும்; உகந்த மைந்தா! — உள்ளம் உவந்த பெருமானே!; உன்னை என்றும் — உன்னை என்றும்; மறவாமை — மறவாமல் இருக்கும் அருள்; பெற்றேனே — பெற்றேன்
