உலகம் உண்டவன் இடம் இக்கோயில்தான்

அலைநீரொடுவான்எரிகால்முதலா
உண்டவன் * எந்தைபிரானதுஇடம்
ஒளிமாடங்கள்சூழ்ந்துஅழகாயகச்சி *
விண்டவர்இண்டைக்குழாமுடனே
விரைந்தார்இரியச்செருவில்முனைந்து *
பண்டுஒருகால்வளைத்தான்பணிந்த

Simple Translation

1131. At the time of dissolution, He consumed the universes, the eight directions, The earth with its seas, the sky, fire, and wind — All were held within Him, my sovereign Lord. His radiant abode is Kanchipuram, Surrounded by shining mansions in splendor. Once, even a mighty Pallava king, Victorious in battle, bowed to Him here. This is Paramēchura Viṇṇagaram.
