திருவேங்கடத்தில் பிறத்தலும் இருத்தலும் போதியது எனல்
The One who reclines in Thiruvarangam stands on the Thiruvenkatam hill. Shouldn't a person born as a human seek the connection with Thiruvenkatam? The cool, flowing streams of Venkata Hill are where the Lord delights in residing! Won't I be born as a stork living by the lake on that hill? Won't I be a fish living in the holy pond of Thiruvenkatam? Can't

and material pleasure .
I want only to be the slave of the one
who conquered seven strong bulls, the One who holds the conch
in His left hand,
I want to be born as a crane that lives
in the pond Koneri, in Thiruvenkatam.

I don’t want to be surrounded by heavenly women
or have the joy of ruling the sky
and a kingdom on the earth.
Oh! let me be born as a fish in a spring
in Thiruvenkatam, filled with groves

679. Shivā with matted hair, Nānmuhan and Indra
throng before the divine entrance of Thirumalai that is similar to
Vaikuntam which is not easily approachable.
I will hold the golden plate of the lord of Thiruvenkatam
who holds the fiery discus(chakra) in His hands
and I will be blessed to enter.
