raise as protective wall —

her intelligence (that was given by you) —

for my intellect (which knows you fully) —

thiruvĕngadam (thirumalai) which appears such that the female monkey will ask the male monkey to catch hold of and give the bright moon —

you should not think that this is appropriate for you —

thinking it as moon which is emitting light in the sky —

the knowledge (that there is an emperumān) is not there (for me) —

young crescent moon —

 for youthful moon —

the sweet light emitted by the rays of the moon —

(and) due to my foolishness —

the two pirāttis, srīdhĕvi and bḥūdhĕvi (thirumadanthai, maṇmadanthai) with unparalleled divine face like the moon, —

even this cool moon —

 ŏh ŏne who lives in the city of kānchee having divine ramparts / walls! —

ūragam, which is within the fortified kānchi —

he who is the ocean of knowledge of thathvam, —

and his face is the bright light of the moon, —

joining the hands together in salutation and meditating —

 Constructed using rocks, and surrounded by big towering walls, —

one who is dwelling mercifully like a kalpaka vruksham (wish-fulfilling divine tree) at thirukkaṇṇamangai which is surrounded by newly built compound wall —
