adhanai eydhuvār ār ār

who all would attain the purushārtham of kāmam (love)

pū ār adi

the soft divine feet, which are like flowers

i vaiyam ārāl adi al̤appu uṇdadhu

by whom this earth was measured

sīr ār kalai algul sīr adi sem thuvar vāy

one having a waist draped with a beautiful sari, having beautiful legs, having deep reddish mouth

adi ārndha

being complete due to the pādha bhandham (connection with the divine feet of emperumān. īt can also mean, the proper sequence/connection of the words/lines)

chikkena ārththu adippa

to tie down firmly and beat

agan āra uṇban enṛu uṇdu

saying that you would drink to your stomach’s content, thus drinking (her life along with her milk)

 kongath ār val̤am konṛai alangal mārvan 

 and such (rudhran is ) having in ḥis chest the garland of koṇṛai flower that is having honey and much beauty.

ār alangal ānamai

becoming transformed

aval̤ ārānum ādhānum allal̤ kāṇīr

she is not any ordinary person (she is very intelligent)

ārānum allan

he is not some lowly deity

maṝu ārānum allanĕ enṛu ozhindhāl̤

(the mother) left without any worry, after saying that there is surely no one else who has caused this disease

maṝu ārānum allāmai chikkena kĕttu

after hearing firmly that no other lowly deity is the reason for this disease

ār uyir al̤avu anṛu

is beyond the ability of my āthmā;

ār al̤avum

thār ār thada thŏl̤gal̤ ul̤ al̤avum kai nītti

getting the divine huge shoulders, which are adorned with a garland, to go right down to the bottom of the pot

kār ār thirumĕni kāṇum al̤avum pŏy

going from place to place [one divine abode to another] until ī see his divine form which is like a dark cloud

am pŏṉ ār

that is beautiful, like shining gold

am mūnṛum ārāyil

if one were to analyse as to which these three are

āngĕ ārānum mūdhu aṛiyum ammanaimār

some old women who were there, familiar with stories of old [happenings of past]
