As a consequence of the kattuvicci (the female diviner) uttering the sacred name ‘kaḍal vaṇṇar’, and due to the mother herself repeating that divine epithet to her daughter and to all who came to inquire of her well-being; and furthermore, from the mother repeating the very words her daughter spoke before fainting, ‘emperumān tiruvaraṅgam eṅgē’
