கண்ணனின் பெயரையே சொல்லி உய்ந்தேன்

கண்ணியர்குறுங்கயிற்றால் கட்டவெட்டென்றிருந்தான் *
திண்ணமாமதிள்கள்சூழ்ந்த தென்திருப்பேருள் * வேலை
வண்ணனார்நாமம் நாளும்வாய்மொழிந்துய்ந்தவாறே!

Simple Translation

1434. When he stole butter, Yashodā the cowherdess was angry with him, hit him with her churning stick and tied him up with a small rope, but he kept quiet. Every day I praise the names of the ocean-colored god of ThenThirupper (Koiladi) surrounded with large strong walls and I am saved.
