திருமாலைத் துதித்து நான் உய்ந்தேன்

1429 வங்கமார்கடல்களேழும் மலையும்வானகமும்மற்றும் *
அங்கண்மாஞாலமெல்லாம் அமுதுசெய்துமிழ்ந்தஎந்தை *
திங்கள்மாமுகிலணவு செறிபொழில்தென்திருப்பேர் *
எங்கள்மாலிறைவன்நாமம் ஏத்திநானுய்ந்தவாறே!

1429 vaṅkam ār kaṭalkal̤ ezhum * malaiyum vāṉakamum maṟṟum *

1429. I have praised the names of Thirumāl, our father who swallowed the seven oceans, the mountains, the sky and all the beautiful worlds and spat them out, the god of ThenThirupper (Koiladi) surrounded with thick groves that touch the dark clouds and the moon and I am saved.

Detailed Explanation

With profound grace and cosmic responsibility, Sarveśvaran, the Supreme Lord of all, performed His magnificent act of protection during the great deluge (pralaya). He lovingly took into His divine stomach the seven great oceans, which were adorned with multitudes of boats as if they were beautiful decorations.
