Thirunāngur Thiruvellakkulam - (கண் ஆர்)
This Divya Desam is also known as Annan Kovil. The presiding deity here is Srinivasan. The region of Thirumangai Mannan is Ali Nadu, and Thirunangur is a part of it. Kumudavalli Thayar, the wife of Thirumangai āzhvār, was born here. Thirumangai āzhvār had a great affinity for this place. This village is located on the Sirkazhi-Tharangambadi road.
இந்தத் திவ்விய தேசத்திற்கு அண்ணன் கோயில் என்றும் பெயர். இக்கோயிலில் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கும் பெருமாள் ஸ்ரீநிவாஸன். திருமங்கைமன்னனின் நாடு ஆலி நாடு. அதன் ஒரு பகுதி திருநாங்கூர். திருமங்கையாழ்வாரின் மனைவியான குமுதவல்லித் தாயார் இங்குத் தோன்றினார். திருமங்கையாழ்வாருக்கு இவ்வூரில் மிக்க ஈடுபாடு. சீர்காழி-தரங்கம்பாடிச் சாலையில் இவ்வூர் இருக்கிறது.

If devotees learn and recite these ten pāsurams well they will go to the spiritual world and be with gods.
