இராவணனை வதைத்தவன் வாழும் இடம்

1074 பரதனும்தம்பிசத்துருக்கனனும்
இலக்குமனோடுமைதிலியும் *
இரவுநன்பகலும்துதிசெய்யநின்ற
இராவணாந்தகனைஎம்மானை *
குரவமேகமழும் குளிர்ப்பொழிலூடு
குயிலொடுமயில்கள்நின்றால *
இரவியின்கதிர்கள் நுழைதல்செய்தறியாத்
திருவல்லிக்கேணிக்கண்டேனே. (2)

Simple Translation

1074. As Rāma he fought with Rāvana, the king of Lankā, while Bharathan, Satrughnan, Lakshamanan and Sita prayed for him night and day. He stays in Thiruvallikkeni and I saw him there where kuravam flowers bloom in a cool thick grove where the rays of the sun do not enter and cuckoo birds sing and peacocks dance.
