1072 இன்துணைப்பதுமத்து அலர்மகள்தனக்கும்
இன்பன் நற்புவிதனக்குஇறைவன் *
தந்துணைஆயர்பாவை நப்பின்னை
தனக்குஇறை மற்றையோர்க்கெல்லாம்
வன்துணை * பஞ்சபாண்டவர்க்காகி
வாயுரைதூதுசென்றியங்கும்
என்துணை * எந்தைதந்தைதம்மானைத்
திருவல்லிக்கேணிக்கண்டேனே.

Simple Translation

1072. He is dear to the lotus-born Lakshmi, Lord of Bhūmi Devī, and beloved of Nappinnai, the cowherd maiden. To all others, He is the strong, unfailing refuge. For the Pāṇḍavas, He became their envoy, speaking on their behalf with steadfast words. He is my companion, the father of my clan, my very Lord. That Lord—I saw Him in sacred Thiruvallikkēṇi with my own eyes!

இன் துணை — தனக்கினிய துணையான; பதுமத்து — தாமரைப்பூவில்; அலர்மகள் தனக்கும் — பிறந்த மஹாலக்ஷ்மிக்கு; இன்பன் — இனியவனும்; நல் புவி தனக்கு இறைவன் — பூமா தேவிக்கு நாதனும்; தன் துணை — தன்னையே துணையாகக் கொண்ட; ஆயர் பாவை — ஆயர்குலப் பெண்; நப்பின்னை தனக்கு — நப்பின்னைக்கு; இறை — நாயகனும்; மற்றையோர்க்கு எல்லாம் — மற்றுமுள்ள எல்லாருக்கும்; வன் துணை — பெரிய வலிய துணையாயிருப்பவனும்; பஞ்ச பாண்டவர்க்கு ஆகி — பஞ்ச பாண்டவர்களுக்கு; தூது சென்று — தானே தூதனாக சென்று; வாய் உரை — அவர்களுக்காக; இயங்கும் — பேசினவனும்; என் துணை — எனக்குத் துணையானவனும்; எந்தை தந்தை — என் குலத் தந்தையுமான; தம்மானை — பெருமானை; திருவல்லிக்கேணி — திருவல்லிக்கேணியில்; கண்டேனே — கண்டேனே

in — sweet (for his heart); thuṇai — being a companion; padhumam — one who has lotus flower as birth place; alar magal̤ thanakkum — for periya pirāttiyār; inban — being enjoyable; nal — one who forbears everything; puvi thanakku — for ṣrī bhūmip pirātti; iṛaivan — being dear; than thuṇai — having him as the only companion; āyar pāvai — cowherd girl; nappinnai thanakku — for nappinnaip pirātti; iṛai — being the lord; maṝaiyŏrkku ellām — for everyone else; val thuṇai — being a strong companion; panja pāṇdavarkku — for pancha pāṇdavas; āgi — assuming all types of relationships; vāy urai — their words; senṛu — informed to dhuryŏdhana et al; thūdhu iyangum — one who mercifully went as divine messenger; en thuṇai — being a friend in need for people like me; endhai thandhai thammānai — the lord of my clan; thiruvallikkĕṇik kaṇdĕnĕ — ī saw in thiruvallikkĕṇi.

அதி மானுஷ சேஷ்டிதங்களை அனுபவித்து -ஸ்ரீ பூமா நீளா தேவி நாயகனாய் இருந்து வைத்தும் தூது சென்றான் என்று ஈடுபடுகிறார்
