மறைவளரப்புகழ்வளரமாடந்தோறும்
மண்டபமொண்தொளியனைத்தும்வாரமோத *
சிறையணைந்தபொழிலணைந்ததென்றல்வீசும்

Simple Translation

1142. He destroyed Kabandha, Vāli and others, felling them with a single arrow. In Lanka, He cut down the demon hosts, with crescent fangs and curved swords, including their leader Rāvaṇa, He shattered them all. That supreme Lord I beheld in Thirukkōvalūr, where in every house the Vedas resound, where fame grows with sacred chants, where bright streets and halls echo with recitation, and from the gardens by the moat, cool southern breezes flow.

I have been graced with the sublime vision of that very Emperumān in the sacred city of Thirukkōvalūr—He who is the Supreme Protector of dharma.
