உன்னைக் காண்பதற்காகவே இப்பிறப்பை ஏற்றேன்

1035 நோற்றேன்பல்பிறவி நுன்னைக்காண்பதோராசையினால் *
ஏற்றேனிப்பிறப்பே இடருற்றனனெம்பெருமான்! *
கோல்தேன் பாய்ந்தொழுகும் குளிர்சோலைசூழ்வேங்கடவா! *
ஆற்றேன்வந்தடைந்தேன் அடியேனை ஆட்கொண்டருளே.

Simple Translation

1035. O Lord of cool Thiruvēṅkaṭam, where fragrant groves surround You and honey flows and floods from wooden poles. Through many births, I pursued other paths, performing bhakti and other means, hoping to earn a glimpse of You. Now, longing to see You in this very birth, I am gripped by fear and sorrow. Unable to bear this endless cycle, I have come and surrendered. Take me in—this servant who seeks no refuge but You.

கோல் தேன் — கோல்களிலிருந்து தேன்; பாய்ந்து ஒழுகும் — பாய்ந்து ஒழுகும்; குளிர் — குளிர்ந்த; சோலை — சோலைகள்; சூழ் — சூழ்ந்த; வேங்கடவா! — திருமலையிலிருப்பவனே!; எம்பெருமான்! — எம்பெருமானே!; பல் பிறவி — பல பிறவிகளில்; நோற்றேன் — பாபங்களைச் செய்தேன்; உன்னை — உன்னை; காண்பது — காணவேண்டும் என்கிற; ஓர் ஆசையினால் — ஓர் ஆசையினால்; இப் பிறப்பே — இந்த ஜந்மத்திலே; ஏற்றேன் — உனக்கு தாஸனானேன்; இடர் — இன்னமும் நேரக்கூடிய; உற்றனன் — பிறவிகளை நினைத்து; ஆற்றேன் — வருந்தினேன் பிறகு; வந்து — உன்னை வந்து; அடைந்தேன் — அடைந்தேன்; அடியேனை — தாஸனான என்னை; ஆட்கொண்டருளே — ஆட்கொண்டருளவேணும்

kŏl — from poles; thĕn — honey; pāyndhu — overflowing; ozhugum — flooding; kul̤ir — cool; sŏlai sūzh — surrounded by gardens; vĕngadavā — ŏh one who is having thirumalā as residence!; em — for us, devotees; perumān — ŏh great benefactor!; pal piṛavi — to take many births; nŏṝĕn — ī, the servitor, who performed sādhanānushtānam (other upāyams such as bhakthi yŏgam); ĕṝĕn — ī became qualified (to receive your highness- merciful glance); (due to that); unnai — your highness; kāṇbadhu — to see; ŏr — a; āsaiyināl — with the desire; ippiṛappĕ — in this birth itself; idar uṝanan — ī became worried;; āṝĕn — being unable to tolerate (the repetitive births); vandhu adaindhĕn — ī came and surrendered;; adiyĕnai āt koṇdu arul̤ — kindly accept my service.
