உன்னைக் காண்பதற்காகவே இப்பிறப்பை ஏற்றேன்

1035 நோற்றேன்பல்பிறவி நுன்னைக்காண்பதோராசையினால் *
ஏற்றேனிப்பிறப்பே இடருற்றனனெம்பெருமான்! *
கோல்தேன் பாய்ந்தொழுகும் குளிர்சோலைசூழ்வேங்கடவா! *
ஆற்றேன்வந்தடைந்தேன் அடியேனை ஆட்கொண்டருளே.

Simple Translation

1035. O Lord of cool Thiruvēṅkaṭam, where fragrant groves surround You and honey flows and floods from wooden poles. Through many births, I pursued other paths, performing bhakti and other means, hoping to earn a glimpse of You. Now, longing to see You in this very birth, I am gripped by fear and sorrow. Unable to bear this endless cycle, I have come and surrendered. Take me in—this servant who seeks no refuge but You.
