1035. O Lord of cool Thiruvēṅkaṭam, where fragrant groves surround You and honey flows and floods from wooden poles. Through many births, I pursued other paths, performing bhakti and other means, hoping to earn a glimpse of You. Now, longing to see You in this very birth, I am gripped by fear and sorrow. Unable to bear this endless cycle, I have come and surrendered.
Take me in—this servant who seeks no refuge but You.
