418. Srirangam is the divine abode of the lord
who took the form of a dwarf, tricking king Mahābali,
took his kingdom and at once happily granted him
a kingdom in the underworld
In Srirangam where our god rests on Adishesha,
that spits from its mouth precious diamonds
as bright as the morning sun rising from a lovely shining hill.
