Hanuman sees Mother Sita - (நெறிந்த கருங்குழல்)
அனுமன் சீதைக்குக் கூறிய அடையாளம்
As Rama's messenger, Hanuman went to Lanka and found Sita Devi in Ashoka Vatika. He conveyed his identity as Rama's messenger by recounting several tokens and then delighted her by giving her the ring sent by Rama. The āzhvār rejoices in narrating these noble deeds. Reciting this hymn is a mark of one's devotion to Rama.
இராம தூதனாக இலங்கைக்குச் சென்ற (அநுமன்) திருவடி அசோகவனத்தில் சீதா பிராட்டியைக் காண்கிறார். பல அடையாளங்களைச் சொல்லித் தான் இராமதூதன் என்பதை உணர வைக்கிறார். இராமன் கொடுத்தனுப்பிய மோதிரத்தைக் கொடுத்து மகிழ்விக்கிறார். இவ்வரிய செயல்களைக் கூறி மகிழ்கிறார் ஆழ்வார். ஒருவன் இராமபக்தன் என்பதற்கு இத்திருமொழியைக் கூறுவதும் ஓரடையாளம்.

- Verse 1:
318. Hanuman sees Sita in Asokavanam in Rāvana's Lankā and says, “O Beautiful goddess with dark thick hair! I am your slave. This is my request. Rāma broke the bow of king Janaka wearing a shining crown studded with diamonds and married you. When ParasuRāman, known for his great penance stopped him on the way to Ayodhya after your marriage, Rāma broke his bow and destroyed his powerful tapas. This tells you I am a messenger from Rāma. - Verse 2:
319. “O you! with hair adorned with lovely alli blossoms, I bow to your feet. This is my request. Show me your grace and listen, You are beautiful as a doe and have two eyes like blooming flowers. One night when you were with your beloved husband, you tied Rāma with the jasmine garland playfully This is a proof that i am Rāma's messenger. - Verse 3:
321. Prompted by the wicked Mantara, the large hearted Kaikeyi got misled and asked for two boons from Dasharatha. With a sorrowful heart the noble king granted them, unable to refuse. He sent his dear son to go to the forest in exile. Rāma went with his brother Lakshmana. This tells you I am a messenger from Rāma. - Verse 4:
321. “O Vaidehi, beautiful one with covered breasts O! royal queen of the Ayodhya king, who has a beautiful chariot. This is my request. Give me your grace and hear me. He became a good friend of Guhan, who, skilled in using a sharp spear, lived on the bank of Ganges. This tells you I am Rāma's messenger. - Verse 5:
322. “O Vaidehi, as lovely as a doe, with words as sweet as milk, This is my request. You and Rāma went to the forest and stayed in Chitrakoodam, you walked along stony paths where the mountain slopes are covered with groves and flowers drip honey. There Bharatha came and worshiped you. This tells you I am a messenger from Rāma. - Verse 6:
323. “When you were in Chitrakoodam, a small crow came and pricked your breast. Rāma shot an arrow at the crow in fury and the frightened crow flew all over the world. Unable to get help, he fell at your feet, saying ‘O Rāma, clever one, you are my refuge. ’ The Brahmāstra blinded its one eye. This is a proof that I am Rāma's messenger. - Verse 7:
324. O! One with a waist as thin as lightning! This is your true slave's request! Seeing a golden deer playing sweetly in the forest , you asked your beloved husband to bring it to you, He took his bow and went to catch it, leaving Lakshmana to guard you. Hearing Rāma's call, Lakshmana left you alone and went to help Rāma This is again a proof that I am Rāma's messenger. - Verse 8:
325. “O Vaidehi, with hair dark as kohl decorated with beautiful flowers, this is my request. In our search for you, the king of Ayodhya told all these to me and the monkey chief. so that I could search for you. Here is a ring from his hand— the best of all signs that I am his messenger. ” - Verse 9:
326. Sita was overwhelmed to see the ring of Rāma, praised in all directions. She thought of the day when Rāma came to Janaka’s palace, during the yagna, broke the bow in the middle of a large assembly of kings and married her. Sita, decorated with flowers on her hair, exclaimed, “O Hanuman, is a marvelous sign!” and joyfully placed the ring on her head with respect. - Verse 10:
327. The Pattarpiran of Puduvai, praised by all the world, described in pāsurams the signs by which the famous Hanuman convinced Vaidehi the beautiful one with tender covered breasts. If devotees recite these pāsurams they will stay with him in His divine abode (Vaikuntam).
