Even if Brahmā who is relatively superior to Śiva, attempted to sing the Lord’s glory, the result would be just the same.
In this eighth pāsuram, the Āzhvār deepens his meditation upon the immeasurable nature of Sriman Nārāyaṇa. Whereas the preceding pāsuram established that the dēvatās, including Rudra, are incapable of truly glorifying the Supreme Lord, this verse addresses the status of Brahmā himself. The esteemed pūrvācāryas clarify that the Āzhvār is not merely speaking of the
