Sing These Verses; the Sorrow of Birth Will Vanish.

இவற்றைப் பாடுக; பிறவித் துன்பம் நீங்கும்

3023 வியப்பாயவியப்பில்லா மெய்ஞ்ஞானவேதியனை *
சயப்புகழார்பலர்வாழும் தடங்குருகூர்ச்சடகோபன் *
துயக்கின்றித்தொழுதுரைத்த ஆயிரத்துள்இப்பத்தும் *
உயக்கொண்டுபிறப்பறுக்கும் ஒலிமுந்நீர்ஞாலத்தே. (2)

Simple Translation

3023. This decad, from the thousand crystal-clear verses composed by Caṭakōpaṉ of Kurukūr, the mighty home of spiritually renowned people, is an adoration of the Lord revealed by the Vedas, above all known wonders. It will free men of this world, bound by roaring waters, from the cycle of rebirth.

(i) The Lord is a marvel unto Himself. What appears to be a matter of wonder for us, with limited intellect and meagre perception, is by-no-means wonderful for Him, who is the All-powerful Lord of the entire Universe.
