அரியை முற்ற முடியப் புகழ்வது எளிதன்று

2037 மூவரில்முதல்வனாய ஒருவனை. உலகம்கொண்ட *
கோவினைக்குடந்தைமேய குருமணித்திரளை * இன்பப்
பாவினைப்பச்சைத்தேனைப் பைம்பொன்னையமரர்சென்னிப்
பூவினை * புகழும்தொண்டர் என்சொல்லிப்புகழ்வர்தாமே.

Simple Translation

2037. He, the god of Kudandai shining like a pile of diamonds, is the first one among all the three gods, the king of the whole world, sweet poetry, fresh honey and pure gold and the flowers that adorn the hair of the gods in the sky. What can his devotees say to praise him?

மூவரில் — மும்மூர்த்திகளுள்; முதல்வன் ஆய ஒருவனை — முதல்வனும் ஒப்பற்றவனும்; உலகம் — மகாபலியிடத்தில் உலகங்களை இரந்து; கொண்ட — பெற்ற; கோவினை — பெருமானும்; குடந்தை மேய — திருக்குடந்தையில் இருப்பவனும்; குருமணி — சிறந்த நீலமணி; திரளை — குவியல் போன்றவனும்; இன்பப் பாவினை — இன்பப் பாடல்கள் போன்றவனும்; பச்சைத் தேனை — பசுந்தேன்போல் இனியனும்; பைம் பொன்னை — பசும்பொன்போல் விரும்பத்தக்கவனும்; அமரர்சென்னி — நித்ய ஸூரிகளின் தலையில் சூடும்; பூவினை — பூ போன்றவனும்; புகழும் தொண்டர் — புகழ்கின்ற தொண்டர்கள்; என் சொல்லி — எதைச் சொல்லி; புகழ்வர் தாமே? — புகழ்வார்களோ?
