பக்தியுள்ளவர்களுக்கே மோட்சம் கிட்டும்

830 பத்தினோடுபத்துமாய் ஒரேழினோடொரொன்பதாய் *
பத்தினால்திசைக்கணின்ற நாடுபெற்றநன்மையாய் *
பத்தினாயதோற்றமோடு ஒராற்றல்மிக்கஆதிபால் *
பத்தராமவர்க்கலாது முத்திமுற்றலாகுமே?

830 pattiṉoṭu pattumāy * ŏr ezhiṉoṭu ŏr ŏṉpatāy *
pattu-nāl ticaikkaṇ niṉṟa * nāṭu pĕṟṟa naṉmaiyāy **
pattiṉ āya toṟṟamoṭu * ŏr āṟṟal mikka ātipāl *
pattarām avarkku alātu * mutti muṟṟal ākume? (79)

Simple Translation

830. He is the ten directions, the soul of the ten guardians of the directions, the nine notes of music, the nine rasas of dance and he, the ancient and the most powerful one, came to this world in ten avatharams. Only if devotees worship him with devotion will they reach Mokshā.
