விபீடணனுக்கு அரசளித்தாயே!

784 மின்னிறத்தெயிற்றரக்கன் வீழவெஞ்சரம்துரந்து *
பின்னவற்கருள்புரிந்து அரசளித்தபெற்றியோய்! *
நன்னிறத்தொரின்சொலேழை பின்னைகேள்வ! மன்னுசீர் *
பொன்னிறத்தவண்ணனாய புண்டரீகனல்லையே?

784 miṉ niṟattu ĕyiṟṟu arakkaṉ vīzha * vĕñcaram turantu *
piṉṉavaṟku arul̤ purintu * aracu-al̤itta pĕṟṟiyoy **
naṉṉiṟattu ŏr iṉcŏl ezhai * piṉṉai kel̤va maṉṉu cīr *
pŏṉ niṟatta vaṇṇaṉ āya * puṇṭarīkaṉ allaiye? (33)

Simple Translation

784. Shooting your cruel arrows you destroyed Rāvana whose teeth were as bright as lightning, and you gave your grace to Vibhishanā and the kingdom of Lankā. You are the beloved of Nappinnai, the innocent woman with sweet words and a lovely color. Aren’t you the lotus-eyed god who have everlasting fame and a golden color?
