the water of the Ganges flows from your lotus feet
and you carry in your beautiful hands
a discus, a conch, a club, a bow and a sword.
O god of gods who took the form of a man-lion,
the goddess Lakshmi, adorned with beautiful blossoms
dripping with pollen, lives on your chest.
