தாழ்வற்றது தவம்தாரணிபெற்றது * தத்துவநூல்
கூழற்றதுகுற்றமெல்லாம்பதித்தகுணத்தினர்க்கு அந்
நாழற்றது * நம்மிராமானுசன்தந்தஞானத்திலே.

Simple Translation

3957. He argued with the scholars of other religions and defeated them. The Vediyars have been defeated and the earth is fortunate because of his tapas. Rāmānujā, whose philosophy has become famous, gave wisdom to good people and they spread it with their tongues and learned the sastras.

நம் இராமாநுசன் — நம் ஸ்வாமி இராமாநுசன்; தந்த ஞானத்திலே — அருளின ஞானத்தால்; தொல்லை — நெடு நாளாக; வாதியர்க்கு — வாதம் செய்பவர்களின்; வாழ்வு அற்றது — வாழ்வு அற்றுப் போயிற்று; மறையவர் தம் தாழ்வு — வைதிகர்களின் குறை; என்றும் அற்றது — இனி தீர்ந்தது; தாரணி — பூமண்டலம்; தவம் பெற்றது — பாக்யம் பெற்றது; தத்துவ நூல் — சாஸ்திர நூல்கள்; கூழ் அற்றது — தோஷங்கள் அற்றது; குற்றம் எல்லாம் பதித்த — பலவகைக் குற்றங்கள் நிறைந்த; குணத்தினர்க்கு — ஸ்வபாவத்தையடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு; அந் நாழ் அற்றது — அந்தக் குற்றங்கள் நீங்கின

nam — our lord; irāmānusan — emperumānār; thandha — helped by giving; gyānaththilĕ — the knowledge; due to that knowledge; thollai vādhiyarkku — those who dismiss or misinterpret vĕdhas who debate with very old arguments; vāzhvu aṝadhu — their such existence was done with;; enṛum maṛaiyavar tham — at all times, the ones who correctly follow vĕdhas (vaidhikas) – their; thāzhvu aṝadhu — degradation was removed;; thāraṇi — earth; thavam peṝadhu — got such fortune;; thaththuva nūl — in the ṣāsthrams that are based on truth,; kūzh (ellām) aṝadhu — all doubts were gone;; guṇaththinarkku — for those with the nature of; kuṝam ellām padhiththa — having all blemishes embedded,; an nāzh aṝadhu — that drawback was removed;; ŏh! what wonderful greatness of such knowledge (from emperumānār) — is the thought.; gyānaththilĕ — gyānaththālĕ due to the knowledge;
