Simple Translation

2614. Lovely-eyed Thirumāl entered my small heart, and from now on bad karmā cannot stay there because there is no space for it. It is best if it leaves my heart and never comes back.

இங்கு என்னுடைய — என்னுடைய மனதில்; பண்டு போல் — இத்தனை நாளும் போல்; செங்கண் — சிவந்த கண்களையுடைய; மால் — பெருமானின்; சீர்க்கும் — பரந்த குணங்களுக்கே; உள்ளம் — என் உள்ளத்தில்; சிறிது — இடம் போதவில்லை; அங்கே வீற்றிருத்தல் — பாபங்களுக்கு அங்கே இடம்; இல்லை — இல்லை; வல் வினையார் தாம் — இனி கொடிய பாபங்கள்; மடி — தன்னை; அடக்கி — கஷ்டப்படுத்திக் கொண்டு; நிற்பதனில் — இருப்பதைக் காட்டிலும்; ஈண்டு — இங்கிருந்து வெளிக்கிளம்பி; அடி எடுப்பது — போவது தானே; அன்றோ அழகு? — அழகு?

ingu — in my mind (for my karmas); paṇdu pŏl — like earlier times; vīṝiruththal illai — there is no place to sit expansively; ennudaiya sengaṇmāl — my swāmy (lord), having reddish eyes indicating affection, that sarvĕṣvaran’s; sīrkkum — auspicious qualities; (idamillādahapadi — without a place); ul̤l̤am siṛidhu — my heart is very small; valvinaiyār thām — my cruel sins; angĕ — in that same place (wherefrom they were ruling); madi adakki niṛpadhanil — instead of standing submissively, folding the end of their dress; mīṇdu — moving away from there; adi eduppadhanṛŏ azhagu — isn’t stepping back, a thing of beauty?
