நமோநாராயணம் என்ற நாமம் மிக நல்லது

1544 நின்றவரையும்கிடந்தகடலும் திசையும்இருநிலனும் *
ஒன்றும்ஒழியாவண்ணம் எண்ணிநின்றஅம்மானார் *
குன்றுகுடையாஎடுத்த அடிகளுடையதிருநாமம் *
நன்றுகாண்மின்தொண்டீர்! சொன்னேன் நமோநாராயணமே.

Simple Translation

1544. Our father of Naraiyur is the hills, the ocean, the directions and the large earth and he guards them and makes them indestructible. He carried Govardhanā mountain and protected the cows and cowherds from the storm. O devotees, understand that his divine name is an excellent thing. Praise his name and say, “Namo Narāyanāya. ”

Out of His unshakeable and supreme divine resolve (saṅkalpa), Sarveśvaran continuously engages in the cosmic acts of creation and sustenance. He does so with the singular intention that no aspect of His glorious creation should ever be diminished or ruined. This divine will ensures the steadfastness of the mighty mountains, which stand firm as anchors for the world;
