மெய்யர்க்கு மெய்யன் அரங்கன்

1406 பொய்வண்ணம்மனத்தகற்றிப் புலனைந்தும்செலவைத்து *
மெய்வண்ணம்நினைந்தவர்க்கு மெய்ந்நின்றவித்தகனை *
மைவண்ணம்கருமுகில்போல் திகழ்வண்ணமரதகத்தின் *
அவ்வண்ணவண்ணனை யான்கண்டதுதென்னரங்கத்தே.

Simple Translation

1406. I saw the dark cloud-colored lord of Thennarangam, a shining emerald, who has removed my false thoughts and makes me control my mind. If people think of his true form, the clever lord is truth for them.

பொய் வண்ணம் — அநித்ய பொருள்களிலிருந்து; மனத்து அகற்றி — மனதை விலக்கி; புலன் ஐந்தும் — ஐம்புலன்களையும்; செல வைத்து — அடக்கி; மெய் வண்ணம் — உண்மையாக; நினைந்தவர்க்கு — நினைந்தவர்க்கு; மெய்ந் நின்ற — தன்னைக் காட்டும்; வித்தகனை — வித்தகனை; மை வண்ணம் — மையைப் போலவும்; கரு முகில் போல் — கறுத்த மேகம் போலவும்; திகழ் — இருக்கும்; வண்ணம் — நிறத்தையுடையவனும்; மரகதத்தின் — மரதகப் பச்சை; அவ் வண்ண — வண்ணம் போன்ற; வண்ணனை — வண்ணம் உடையவனை; யான் கண்டது — நான் கண்டது; தென் அரங்கத்தே — திருவரங்கத்திலே

For those blessed souls who have truly meditated upon the Supreme Lord, Sriman Nārāyaṇa, a profound and glorious vision is granted. This sacred meditation is possible only after liberating the mind from its attachments to the transient nature of worldly objects, which are born of primordial matter, and after steadfastly withdrawing the five senses from their engagement
